My drivers side rear wheel is leaning inward from the top of the wheel.Do I need to adjust the strut rods, and how much turning do I need to make to fix this or could this be something else?? This one is a new one on me

You can adjust the strut rod but you will need an alignement if you do.
Find a shop that has done vettes before. A 4 wheel alignment will cost about $60-70. They will adjust the strud rods and shim the trailing arms as required.
You could have worn yokes. As they wear the wheel tips inwards. Worn strut rod bushings will cause the same problem. Get a jack under the shock mount and raise the wheel just off the ground. Then check for play at 6:00 and 12:00. Axle moving = worn yokes. Moving in strut bushings = worn bushings. The yokes should have no more then .050" end play. New ones are usually something less then .005".
I had this problem and the strut rod busing was worn out and would not hold a camber setting.
You can pull it in to set the camber (this shouldn't affect toe) and see if it will hold the setting. If it returns to where it was the bushing is bad.

You can do whatever you want yourself but in the end you will have to do a 4 wheel alignment. I would have the alignment done first and then they can tell you excactly what is wrong so you dont waste money fixing things that don't need to be fixed. Hopefully everything is fine and the adjustments made during the alignment will solve your problem.
