Default intake manifold

Looking to get more horses out of the 71 454 so I'm thinking about starting by adding some headers and intake. Haven't done that much looking for the intake, but I ran across the weiand intakes. Anyone know if they're any good? Not much has been done to the engine, just a cam, but I don't know the specs. The other problem is I'm looking for it to fit under the hood...at least until I save up for that nice shiny blower...will these fit under the hood? If not any other suggestions?

I don't have personal experience, but from what I've read here the aftermarket four barrel manifolds all have clearance issues. I believe the stock manifold is a pretty good piece; how 'bout it guys?
