I've just bought 4 new calipers from Muskegon and I've a question about doing the job.
I only have a single garage and can only jack the front or rear up at any one time. I was thinking about starting at replacing the calipers from the front left (drivers side) and working to the rear right (furthest away from MC). With the Calipers on then bleeding the brakes from the rear right and working towards the MC so rear right, rear left, front right & finally front left....
Does this make sense or does anyone have any recomendations? And I would love to buy a double garage but has anyone seen the prices in Southern California!!!!!
I'm not sure if this applies when replacing calipers, but it seems it would. When you bleed you start at the farthest caliper and work your way closer. So right rear, left rear, right front, left front.
You can replace the rear calipers and then bleed them:
LR inner, LR outer, RR inner, RR outer.
Then replace the front calipers and bleed them:
LF, RF.
I've done this and had no problems.
