Default Fiber Optics Connections?

On my 69, I've got light to the fiber optics console from the parking lamp assemblies. But, I still have nothing in the other two lenses on the left and right front sides.

This is a new fiber optics sub-assembly, so I'm assuming it just isn't hooked up to the headlamps yet - how are the fiber optics connected there and are those two missing ones for 1) headlamps on and 2) with brights?

The front fiber optic system shows the status of turn signals, low beam and high beams. The fiber optic pipe should be part of the electrical connector that plugs into each headlight. On the back of the headlight (at least vintage OEM bulbs) there is a small tit that is directly in front of the end of the fiber optic pipe and that is where the light is collected from. If you have just replaced the fiber optic subassembly and not the entire forward wiring harness then you will need to put the fiber optic strand back into the electrical connector that attaches to each headlight.

Regards,

Jay

On 68's, they also show license plate light status.

Thats why there is no engine data plate at the botton of the shifter console
