Next CorvetteForum Tech Session: CHICAGO

The Tuning for Beer World Tour event series is heading up to the Windy City for a Tech & Tuning Session on May 6th & 7th!! Forum Member Jay is performing heroic duties, scrambling to get the event put together in less than a week...
Right now, we have enough cars to fill the available tuning slots for 2 days, but people interested in participating and watching are welcome and encouraged to come out and be a part of this fun & educational process: We'll be going over some tuning theory and methodology for setting up these cars, and then we'll yank some distributors and tear into some carbs to demonstrate how things work and how to make it better. I'll show you how to use the famous "Tuning Hammer", and I'll personally instruct you on beer drinking. Even if you don't get a slot to have your car worked on, you'll go away knowing how to do it. It's a ton of fun, and the Forum people who show up are always just great!! We'll post up pictures and tech info here on the Forum as the event progresses, so be sure to follow along.
If you're signed up for the event in the Chicago Area, be sure to give Jay a hand with this - it's a logistical challenge to put together one of these events, and to do it in a week is pretty amazing.
If you need info on the event, location, and times, drop Jay a note at:
jwg@ols.com
Give him a break if he doesn't respond right away... he's trying to set up a work area for the Event right now...
I have plane tickets in hand, and I'm packing the parts right now... If you're not in Chicago, watch for some great posts and pictures here on the Forum, and be part of the fun!!!

There are other members who have expressed an interest in having Lars look at their car so if your name is on the above list AND you no longer want to participate let me know ASAP so I can offer the space to one of the alternates.
Thanks,
Jay

Thanks,
Jay[/QUOTE jay,,,are the above mentioned cars split up for the 2 days in other words were lookn at a 3 car a day ,,2 day event as of right now?-thanks carl
Yes, but I didn't put myself in the above list so the actual number of participants right now is really 7.
Lars likes to keep the number of cars he works on in a single day to 4 or maybe 5. At this point we still have some room for a few more cars but I want to make sure that everyone who originally expressed an interest in the event has a chance to participate. Once I hear back from the original folks I will open it up to the folks who have asked more recently.
