Replacing fuel filter

I want to replace the fuel filter but am not sure how to loosen the nut holding in the fuel line. There are two nuts, which one do I crank on?
I am affraid of breaking the fuel line. Thanks.

I'm assuming it's a Rochester 4 bbl carb.
With a wrench on the big nut. 1" I believe. Hold that one from turning. The little nut, 5/8" wrench. That's the one you want to loosen. After you break it loose and unscrew it, gently pull the fuel line away from the fitting. Then loosen the big nut, and unscrew it to remove the filter. Be careful reassembling the fittings. Easy to strip or crossthread.
