Steeroids Advice
After rebuilding the steering on my 80 (ends, joints, PS valve, springs and shocks), I really do not like how loose the steering feels... No real feel for the road...but then again, I'm comparing it to my new 2005 car.
Am thinking about installing the Steeroids kit. Anyone have any thoughts about this?

Did it really make a difference?
Ease of installation?
Thanks, Ed
all i can say is heavily rutted road from trucks.....driving on the crown...70MPH holding on to steering wheel with two fingers... let me get my install picts hold on.

i don't know about that....when i reserched my installation i found no one who had installed it and complained about it being worse then the original set up....
edit: i'm following you now...its true that power assist is a constant and not variable....the "on center feel" is absoultely incredible and any movement inthe wheel translates in to steering...you will not be moving the steering wheel unless you want to move thenose of the car....

TOTALLYcorrect, there....I did my own install at a price of time/effort but feel it's as good as steeroids, and in fact I had mine on the ground/running b-4 the steeroids was on the market.....
it's about the best improvement in overall driveability I ever did to the car, EXCEPT the 17x9.5 wheels/tires....
