just finished the autometer gages and CD player. I followed in the footsteps of Redwing vette, timbo and DMONSVETTE, thanx fellas. some of the gages fit kinda sloppy so i went with the angle rings which took care of that problem and they serve a purpose and look great. did not have to do any cutting for the gages except for the gage retaining brkts. for the CD player i started with a sawzall then a diegrinder and a file for the perfect fit. i added an illuminated on/off switch by the fuel gage for my elect fan. next up the 200r4 install

Where did you buy the black plastic for the cover and backing? I put autometer gauges in my center dash last year and used black painted aluminum sheet metel as the backing, I like the look of the black plastic better and might redo my center with that stuff.
