brake light problem

brake light problem
Dad finally got the carb changed (previous owner was setup more for racing, as carb was pretty big)
Since he drove it again finally after a week .. the brake lights went out again. Everything else works fine, head lights, turn signals, etc, except the brake lights.
They think it might be a short some where, and were wondering where I can find the schematics for the lights, so we can give it to the mechanic .
any help would be appreciated,
