New rear suspension
I am at the point of putting the front clip back on my 69 vert after a total restoration. The height of the rear from the fender to the ground is 30 1/4" even with 8" spring bolts. Should I be concerned considering the interior is gutted and I havent had a chance to go drive the car and let everything settle. I'm thinking of buying 10" bolts but am worried if these are safe. I want to be around 27" on ride height.

Mine is right at 30 after installing the heavy duty spring, new shocks, and all new bushings...I've put probably over 300 miles and no settling yet.....my adjustment is most of the way out too. I hesitate to put the nut all the way to the end of the bolt (still have maybe 3/4 inch of the bolt sticking out).
