Broken A/C Condenser Pipe

Broken A/C Condenser Pipe
When removing my A/C condenser, I broke off the pipe near the compression fitting, about 1" from the fitting before the bottom of the condenser. Could I braze this back together? What are my options?
Looks like a local welding shop could fix it for about $40, but I'd have to wait an extra week. Suggestions?

Buy a new one.... $80 from www.autopartsgiant.com
I wouldn't attempt trying to braze an aluminium pipe of that diameter although I would seal it up in the meantime to stop any unwanted dirt getting into the system.
