alarm system??
ok I just set of the alarm system on my 1981, I just bought the car a few weeks ago and did not know it had one, all I did was lock it with the power
locks and close the door and it went off. I disarmed it by unlocking the drivers door with the key. how does the system operate and how do you arm/disarm it. thanks

Wow... yours actually works??? 
I wish mine did. Not really as a theft deterrant, but more as it would be 1 less thing to fix in my goal of trying to bring the car back to as close to stock as possible.
