Problems with braking and turning
I got so caught up in all the technical stuff going on I didn't even think to relate to experiences with different cars years ago. The big block cars don't go as good around corners as small blocks because of all the weight in the front. I can remember the rear end coming around on me several times when I had to brake hard in corners when I went into them too fast. When I started driving the sb cars it would still happen, but not as quick because there was less weight on the front to begin with. Driving the twisty roads in West Va. we learned to brake before the curve and power thru them on the other side. I've even had a 71 Mach I Mustang with a 351 cleveland come around on me in Atlanta once. It can and will happen with any car given the right circumstances. Trying to reach that perfect medium is the tough part. Getting to know the car well enough to know when it is going to happen takes some practice. Sounds like your car is doing what it is supposed to do and for the sound of a big block I wouldn't worry about not being able to go thru the curves quite as fast, just make up for it on the straight aways.

the profiles are different (less extreme) than the rollers and the lifters spin which makes that the pushrod has to sit in the middle, rollers don't spin and therefore they can use offset pushrods.
