During the winter I did some tune-up work on my '76. I installed a high output coil (Accel supercoil), new distributor cap, plugs/plug wires, recurve kit. The engine runs great, but I have a few issues and wonder if they are related.
I get low-level static on my radio and the needle on the electronic tac jumps around particularly at high RPM's. Is it likely that this was caused by the new coil? Any suggestions on how to fix this short of reinstalling the stock coil?

radio noise suppresion capacitors and a tach filter would be a good start....maybe suppression spark plug wires....
