The only C3 engines that used solid lifters from the factory are the smallblock LT-1, the bigblocks L-88, L-89, and L-79, and LS-6 in '71.
Assuming your car has the factory engine and it hasn't been modified, if it isn't one of these, then it most certainly has hydraulic lifters. If it did have solids and you took the lash out of it, I really doubt you'd even be able to get it to run...even poorly.
