Keisler 5 Speed Install (Delay)
I am having the Keisler 5 Speed installed in my 80 (4 speed) and was called by my shop last week. They informed me that the drive shaft that came with the transmission did not fit and the transmission cross brace had to be modified to work properly.
Keisler seemed to respond quickly with sending a currior to pick up the parts and have them modified at their factory... It's been over a week and we haven't received the proper units yet...Sure hope to soon as I thought I bought a turnkey package.
Has anyone else had similar issues with the Keisler package? Am I going to run into any further issues with this?

I received a call from Keisler yesterday (great customer service!) and they noted that the design of the cross brace changed in mid 80 sometime. This has created the challange for those of us with this mod. Regardless, they are fixing and have already shipped. Should have it in the car by next Wednesday and fire up the new 383 and Keisler 5 speed by the weekend!

Just out of curiousity I'd like to see some pics of it before it's installed if possible.
