Old gasoline
What do you do with old gas which is probably too nasty to be used in a lawnmower? I want to remove my gas tank but I don't know what to do with the two year old gas that's been sitting in it. Is there some responsible way to get rid of old gas? I kind of doubt it but I don't know everything so...yeah.

Our community has a haz-mat pickup a few times a year. They'll pick up used oil and batteries, etc.. I would assume your's would too. I'd call the city refuse pickup or local recycling center. They would have info on how to dispose of it properly.
You could also contact your local lube shops. They may take it for free, especially if you use their services. Or at the very least, would know where to take it...

The old gas will be just fine if you mix it with new gas. Transfer it to 5 gallon cans and just add to your car a gallon or 2 at a time until it's gone.
