I have gotten my 69 running after frame off, but not sure the TI is working right. I put in one of the new modules that the Corvette houses sell, but still seems strange.
Here's my problem: with the ignition key in the cranking position, there doesn't seem to be any spark to the plugs. When I turn the key back to the run position after cranking, the engine catches and runs. It almost appears that I have spark in the run key position, but not in the cranking mode. Is that possible?
I called the tech line at Lectric Limited that made the module. They said it was a problem with my contacts in the rubber pigtail connector or the TI wiring harness. I cleaned all the contacts I could find, and checked the ground, but it still acts funny.
Sounds like you've got the power line hooked up to a wire that only gives 12V on the run position, but not on the crank position. Tell us more about what you have it hooked up to.

Sounds like its hooked up to ACC. This circuit is dead during cranking but powered in the RUN position.
Hook ups are all factory. Still has original factory TI ignition wiring harness, so nothing has been changed from stock. I didn't change any of the wiring to change original specs. That's what has me confused.
Another Forum member stated he had exactly the same problem and returned the replacement module to Lectric Limited for a refund. Replaced whole mess with MSD system. I would like to run the stock system, but the current problems make that less than optimal.
I think I would run a jumper to a line known to have 12V just to test it out. If it works, then you can focus on the electrical system. If it's the same, then you know something else is the problem.
