Still working on my 200-4R swap, and I bought the wrong yoke. It doesn't fit my u-joints, so I want to make sure I get the right one. I'm looking at Moser's steel yoke with straps, but I'm not sure on the u-joint style.
It says it uses the 1350 u-joint, and that's nearly the same dimensions I pulled off the old TH400, but it differs ever so slightly. Do I in fact have the 1350 u-joint and will this work?
OK, I am a 4spd guy and NOT familiar with a mainshaft in a 200-4r which spline 26 or 31 and if you measure the u-joint that would help. Remember you probably want a "take apart" yoke (bolt on straps or a u-bolt).....I have a bunch of yokes I just need a little info.

I think that a 75 uses a 1330 series u joint for the drive shaft (someone yell at me if I'm wrong!) but it's very hard to find a 1330 take apart yoke, unless it is a 32 spline shaft coming off of the transmission, then you can find them on ebay. On my 700-R4 it has a 27 spline shaft so I'm going with a 1350 take apart yoke and a conversion U-joint. I hope there was something you can use in there!
From the old yoke, the bearing cups should be around 1 1/8 " in diameter and the u-joint is about 3 3/5 wide. I measured with a ruler graduated in 32nds, so I don't think it's that accurate. I looked up the dimensions of the u-joints on summit and found the 1350 to be the closest match. It should be a 27 spline yoke, and I think the 350, 700R4, and 200-4r use it.
I'm away from my car right now, so I can't really take measurements of the u-joints, aside from what I already have. I suppose the bearing cups could be 1.075 across, considering I was using a ruler and eyeballing it on the yoke. Summit lists 1350 u-joints as having a ~1.18 diameter though, and that seems like a pretty big difference.
Also if you are looking for a yoke with straps with 27 splines, I suggest looking on ebay. I have seen several go for around $60 to $70. Just do a serach on corvette yoke. You don't have to pay big bucks for one.
