Was the radio delete option available in 73? If so where would one get that bezel?

Apparently it was. Some quick math with the Corvette Black Book numbers shows there could be 384 radio delete cars for '73. The trim plate is likely to be difficult to find. Try eBay, swap meets, or the Corvette salvage yard. Good luck.

Actually, radio's were an option back then, NOT a delete option. If you didn't order a radio, you didn't get a radio. Very different than today...

The radio delete plates were available from Paragon last time I checked. $150. You can find them on ebay occasionally, but they range from $150-$250.

A couple of Corvette swap meet vendors have some NOS units for approximately $500.
