Default How do I search for an old topic ?
I'd like some info on replacing my old-style C3 starter with a newer one to get away from the "hot starting problems" that I've read about, and experienced. I heard that the new reduction type starters won't have this problem, anyone have more info?

Can't say if that's the exact one I have, but it looks to be. I never had hot start problems, but when the nose broke off my O'Reilly rebuilt, I thought it would be a good upgrade.
