Default If they don't fit i'll try another brand.

OK, will do ragg. These Kool Nuts have a flange like ring at the top - will need to follow this up on install but gonn'a be a while yet. Gott'a pick up cruise control to fix and a camaro turn signal to trouble shoot first.
Will I need tall vlv covers too? I expect so and will have a tall set standing by if my stock hieght covers don't clear the new nuts.

Any new reports using CC Mag rocker nuts welcome people. cardo0

The top of the kool nuts where the flange is should be just below the top of the Magnum rocker when assembled, so all the sits above is the hex. I would be surprised if it gave you a problem with the valve covers, the only additional height your adding is the length of the locking set screw added to the stud length. hope that helps.

Default Heres a bad CC cam lobe but the lock nuts still held - no loose rockers.

steves_77vette posted the CC nuts maintianed correct lash so i will say this a plus for CC nuts but a neg for CC cams. With Steve's permission i will include his CC wiped lope while using entire CC complete Mag rocker arm kit in my post here. But remember folks lobe lift and lifter preload are directly related once lifter is pumped up - if u lose half the lift it gott'a be made up somewhere. I guess what im trying to say is there may still be a relationship though not obvious to owner.
Anyways thx to Steve for posting a reply to my request. cardo0

Default More input on CC parts please.

Well the double nuts seem to be holding but i do still have vlv train noise - nothing loud like previous. With a sethiscope it sound like cliking on the p-side/even cyl side while the loose rockers were on the d-side/odd cyls. Could just be 1 or 2 lifters too. Need to let it run some more and see if it degrades - more or less noise.

I'm still reading of new CC cam failures so i want to continue asking for input. cardo0
