Did anyone change thier shift **** on the auto. I would like to change the stock **** with a aftermarket one. The kind you push down on to change gears instead of usin a button.
The **** would have to thread onto the threads for the **** then and just slide over the shaft (the stock one has the **** threaded on an internal rod and the ball threads on the shaft)
However if you modify the spring for the gate you can have it shift through all forward gears without depressing, only needing the **** for P & R.
