Need help engine oil problems.
I had the heads on my 78 350 motor completly redone.They are 202 heads.Now when I start the car up after has sat for a while I get a puf of blue smoke from my exhaust I never had this before the heads where redone.When the heads where off I had a chance to see the pistons the cylinder walls had some carbon marks on them you could not feel them with your hands only could see them with a flash light if you shinned it on the cylinder walls.I have not talked to the machine shop who did the heads yet Iam a bit lost in where the problem might be.In the heads or is it the rings.The motor has 48k original miles on it .Thanks Buffed

The valves may have oil pass by them for a few miles because they are not completely settled in their new spots...but! Keep an eye on it cause they may have used the wrong valve seals.
