1. I replaced the rear brakes on my 80 and cant seem to bleed them. No matter how much fluid I push out I still have a mushy peddle and the brake light is on? Any ideas?
2. I replaced my tach with one from Mid America because it was way off. Now its on but it bounces? Again any ideas?

There's a lot of material on this forum about brake bleeding. Try the Search function. I'm soon going to bleed my brakes so I'll probably have the same problems. I've read a lot of the threads about brake bleeding.
Your 1980 tach is electric. I, an early C3 owner, don't know anything about the electrics. Have you called Mid America about your problem?
Good luck.
Inline with the dist tach output there is a typically white wire going into a black firecracker looking thing about 5/8 diameter, with a clamp on the side holding it to the engine, the other end goes into the wiring harness and tach....it's the tach filter, if it's NOT there you need replace it....look on site here for information and wiring....replacements are hard to find., and expensive...the tab MUST be grounded to the engine.....

Gene,
hey I found the wire you were talking about and grounded it. seems to have worked. I must have taken it off with my last upgrade. Thanks for the tip. now on to the brakes. QuickC3
