my car seems to foul the plugs if it idles alot 292/500 cam and 600 cfm holley double pumper. the power valve has been changed to a 4.5. idle vac is around 6 inches. I have a mallory HEI dist with the high performance coil. will MSD help with this

A CD box can give you the higher initial voltage that can be helpful when trying to light off rich mixtures that might ordinarily blow out with an inductive ignition. If that is your situation and you are stuck with it, then, yes, it will help. But I'd make sure that the rest of your system is up to snuff (plug gap and heat range have a lot to do with this) before you start throwing money at a box.
You might also want to go through your basic tuneup. Six inches at idle seems a bit low for that cam.
