Default 80 L82 heads

What size is the combustion chamber on the 80 L82 heads. I would like to swap a set of vortecs on it and am curious what effect it would have on CR.

76cc. If you use vortecs, you'll have to swap intake manifolds for a unit that fits vortec heads. Also, the L82 cam is at the upper limit of where the vortec heads will work without interfering with the valve guides.

Check my sig for a suggestion on heads.

I'm pretty sure the vortec are 58cc which will put your compression close to 11:1 (above 9.5:1 stock), you will see probably around 40 horses to the rear wheels, they make a BIG difference.
