Default BB Heater hose routing?

On a Big block with AC does the hose coming from the top of the intake connect to the back of the overflow container or does the hose that runs from the side of the water pump connect to the back of the overflow container?

Uh, when you say "overflow container" you don't mean the white plastic box on the inner fender, do you?

The intake and water pump fittings you're referring to should connect to the heater core back on the passenger-side of the firewall, right?

hey ..

The hose from the intake goes into the expansion tank - then from the expansion tank into the heater core.

The hose on the water pump goes directly to the heater core.

I'm nearly 99% sure - I will check when I get home from work and post again if I'm incorrect.

On mine:

the intake went to the heater core through the valve

the pump went to the front of tank

the back of tank went to the heater core

Mike229 is correct .....

I checked my car just 5 minutes ago and the routing is as Mike229 says.
On my car, the only diference is 72' cars did not have a cut-off valve for the heater core. My hose from the intake goes directly to the heater core.

Thats why I said I'm 99% sure.. becuase there is always a chance of being wrong...
