I have a buddy who wants to paint his hood like the factory ZL1s and needs the proper layout of the front wrap-around stripe to give his painter. It is the last page (#445) of the AIM entitled 'ZL1' and mine has a dimension that I can't read. It is the dimension in Section B-B just below the .50 dimension where it says 'Parrallel to Radius' on the opposite side arrow. It is important because this is where the striping is in relation to the headlight openings. Thanks for your help!
Posted earlier in C3 General but not getting any help!

I'll check my AIM when I get home tonight and post what I find.
Part of the problem could be that most copies of the AIM that I've seen look like they are 10th generation Xerox copies, very poor quality, many illegible sections.

Unfortunately my AIM is just as bad as yours and I can't make it out. Actually there's nothing there to make out except a partial number. But I think its .20". Here's why, further down the page, closer to the "Section B-B" there are two parallel lines each .25" or a total .50". This is the same dimension as the .50" near where it says "Parallel to Radius", but if you look closely you'll see that the two @ .25" are equally spaced while the upper dimension is wider on one side. I don't think the designers would use .18" or .22" or some other odd measurement, so I'm pretty confident its .20".
One other suggestion is to call Rogers Corvettes in Orlando, FL. He has one of the original ZL1's. Maybe they'll measure it for you.
