Clock check - Working??
Does anyone know how to see if a clock is working - I have a 74 that we are restoring and the clock is out of the dash - can I just hook up a 12v source to the case (ground) and the screw on the back (hot) to see if it runs or is there a better way?

hooked mine right to a batt. charger for a 12v source. worked fine, i got my clock working and it's been running 6 mo. now (knock on wood 
) but it run's a little slow. need to pull it and adjust it a little.
