It is in very good shape, but needs more power.

Also, It have been having a "studering" problem when you get on it. It seems to hesitate then it will take off after a while. And the brakes are real spungy and it pulls to the left. Is one of my calapers bad?

get long tube headers and dual exhaust and a good tune-up and set the timing for better performance and make the car lighter that helps allot

Hey Justin. Nice ride I have a 78 too and I agree with the advice of starting with a good tune up, set the timing right, and the cat thing. I'm in line for a Lars tune-up in a month and me and the car can't wait!

I decided to wake up my 78 When it became historic and didn't have to go thru emissions anymore. New Vortec Heads, Cam, Lifters, Mallory HEI Distrubutor, Hooker Jet Coated Heades, True Duals (no cat) and a street avenger 670 holley with Edelbrock Intake. Runs like a scalded cat. You would think it's a different car now. It's been two years since all the upgrades and I actually think I get better gas mileage now.
