I'm wanting to use the quick connect harness for my Battery Tender Plus and was curious how everyone is hooking these up. Maybe a 101 question, but I can't decide where to ground it in the battery compartment.
Is it best use both eyelets on the battery post terminals? I was thinking of using the harness on the alternator and grounding to the block. Will the Tender work as it should from there? Anyone tried this?
Thanks for the help.

i did a battery cutoff with one of those orange/red keys ....i mounted it behind the driver seat in my amp rack under the carpet..... this way i can cover it when i pull the key......
The Tender can be hooked up anywhere that you have a direct battery lead. The alternator wire is fine. I've got Tenders on all my battery-operated things. All mine are wired directly to the battery terminals though.
Mine are attached directly to the battery posts on all my vehicles. Have been using Battery Tenders successfully for many years and am very pleased with them.

Reason: spelling
The one I purchased from Battery Mart, came with three different types of connectors, 1) cigarette lighter plug, 2) alligator clips, 3) round lug terminals that can be bolted. Additional adapters are only $5 so I have cigarette lighter adapters in my Corvettes. This makes it easy to connect and I don't have to go in the battery compartment or under the hood.
