No need to apologize that car is an awesome piece of work, wether you like the looks or not. I didn't really read through the text, I jsut looked at pictures and a little bit of the text beside it and I didn't really get past page 3 or so. I like your rear tires and a lot of the other custom stuff as well.

Thanks. Wait till you see the new interior I just built! It's going to be killer. Did you see what I did to the air cleaner? I installed the boost and fuel gauges in the rear of the ShotGun Bill twin scoop. A lot of work but the look is awsome. Glenn

Have been watching your progress over the past year, since we share a lot of the same passions; big blown motors & tires in Vette. I, too, had a problem that drove me, and other experts, crazy over a long period of time about heating while leaning on the motor. I kept throwing added capacity, pumps, fans, rads at it witout much luck. One day I put a restrictor in the system, forgot to turn on one of the two water pumps and guess what? It ran cooler! My problem turned out to be the system was too efficient. It was passing the water through the engine too fast to take the heat out. I drove the entire Hot Rod Power Tour without overheating for the first time since I had rebuilt the car with the two radiators in the back. I have two water pumps. One is a CSI on the motors front, the other is an inline back by the rear wheels. I Have four fans. Two 10" under the car pushing air up tubes through the rads, and now have two Spal 10" pullers over the two new Be Cool custom rads. Normal city and highway driving I can turn off the front waterpump and twin lower fans and it runs cooler then with them on. Sitting in the hot Florida traffic during the summer is NO problem. Once in a while I may need to kick in the lower fans for extra air movement while stopped in heavy traffic, but not often. Hope this might help you in your quest. Sure would love to that Vette of yours in person. Do you plan on attending the Street Muscle Car Drags here in Orlando, Florida once it's sorted out? Glenn
Nice photos. I was *wondering* where the second radiator would be installed. There's a lot of room up there without the headlight mechanisms. I assume this is strictly a race vehicle then?
No Driven every weekend ,I have not put my lights back in that go behind my grilles,If it was strictly race I would not need such a cooling system.

Hey Ross, I think I finally got some of this site figured out. I just posted a few photos under the C2 section as well as a for sale of my old tri power carbs. Will see what happens. I sure want to thank you for all your help. Glenn

Hey Big; I have been on your site (thanks to Ross L.) and have seen almost all of the shots you have posted. I'm way impressed. I KNOW what it takes to get to that level, and I'm nowhere near the 7's...congrats! Glenn

no problemo glen, always glad to help out. i knew u could figure it out, just look what you've done on yer vette.
You are partially correct. I don't work...except on my car all the time for I'm retired on diability. I'm over 60 now so it takes a lot longer to do a job then before.
Ok so what did you do, because i don't care how much work you do yourself, i would truly hate to hear how much money you have put into that car. I don't think i could do it, have my vette sit that long without being able to drive it. I like the customization of it, but i wouldn't do it. I like customizing a vette, while keeping it all (almost anyways) vette. Like your c4 suspension is cool. Nice car though.

Sorry to take a while to respond. I use to be a Sgt on the police force for 10 years here in Fla. Before that I was a sign painter and before that in the Navy for 10 yrs. Yes, it kills me when the car has to sit for such long periods without being able to enjoy it (like now) but seems that's the only way I can afford to do all this 'gee wiz' stuff. Money? I gave up a long time ago counting. As you can imagine, waaaay toooo much. Let's just say if I ever do get an offer over $80.000 and take it, I'll be taking a loss, but it never was about the money. That's what it is for, to spend on the things (toys) we love. I've had priceless times with my vette over the 40+ years.
Glenn (Mr. Blue),
I noticed small vents on either side of your hood and was wanting to install vents on the side of my standard '79 hood similar to those. Did you make them or have someone make them for you?
By the way, The work you have done is flawless!
