Carb update
Ok I bought my 1405, I cant wait for the brown truck of the gods to get here! Now I have the old Rochester carb off, and am a bit upset with what I found. The number on the carb is:

a '73 caddy carb on a '74 corvette? I'm confused.
So anyway this guy (me) who has never touched anything other than the dipstick inside the engine compartment, has removed the old carb in preparation for the new carb. I have just bought edelbrok's carb adapter and will be putting it on tomorrow in preparation for the new carb. I am so excited!
