Default 95 Wheels for a 74 Help

I plan on purchasing a set of 92 to 96 chrome factory rims (the eight slot kind), These are the swirl spoke type (8 spokes). I understand that VPB has adapsters that allow using the 17 inch 92 to 96 rims on a 74. Can anyone suggest if I should use the 8.5 inch wide on the front or the 9.5 inch? On the rear I think I can use the 9.5 inch. I do have the parking prake support relocated from the side to the top of the trailing arm. Can anyone provide the offset and the backspacing numbers on the 8.5 and the 9.5? Also what size tires fit well on these rioms for a 74?

There is a guy with a 80-82 red vette that has those wheels... you need to find out from him.
