3 7/8 "od 3.5" id 20" long cheese grater muffler I built for my hooker sidepipes
Each section is 4" long, tacked 5 together to make a unit. I wrapped section 1,3, and 5 with fiberglass and flared the last end to hook on the step down in the sidepipe. They fit snugly but slide in and out without much difficulty.
Drove the vette to work today 20min one way at 75Mph... Just took the Sharp edge off and control the blat on the way back down.
Interesting - what did you have in there before? How do these compare volume wise? What did you make them from - some small baffle with holes, or did you make the holes somehow???

Open sidepipes with Vortex cones in the collectors.
I bought the individual pieces from Shoenfeld headers and welded them together to make a kind of chambered glasspack with a 3.5 id.
Most who have heard both setups say that the pipes are no quieter the high freq compnents of the sound are gone creating a smooth mellow tone instead of a harsh crackle.
