Hello all, my friends 72 Convertible after much restoration won't start.(turn over) It's been almost 2 years since it's ran. It's a 350 and it's been almost 2 years since it's been even turned over. The starter and selonoid tests good.
Here's where I'm at, we're getting 12 volts to the starter on the main battery wire. Getting 12 volts to the small terminal "R" on the starter. The "S" small terminal is zero volts with key in start pos. Is the "S" terminal on the starter supposed to be the wire from the ignition switch? If so looks like a bad switch if that's the case but I'm not sure.
Thanks for any help or insight!
Oh yea, one more question, we're wondering about the neutral safety switch as well. what's the best way to bypass it? Thanks again..
