Calling All Electrical Guys
Ive got a little wiring delema thats driving me nuts,theres a little metal box or some kind of relay right in front of my gear shifter under the trim everytime i hit a bump it goes clickity click it also does it when i attach the battery any ideas what this culprit is ? or what i guy might do to shut it up ? thanks

I'm not sure about an '80, but on my '71 there are two electrical relays in front of the shifter.
The one on the left is the power window relay. That one will click everytime it's power gets turned off.
The one on the right is the windshield wiper relay. That one will click when using the wipers.
If your car has power windows, it sounds like it might be that relay, and that it might have a loose connection.

Well i took the wires off and nothing acted differntly other than the silence of coarse the only thing that made noise in my car and the alarm doesnt work anyways i went viper. thanks muchly for helping out i wouldnt of disconected it if i didnt have an idea what it was.
