HEI Conversion Wiring Question

I am converting from points distributor to HEI and know that I can't use the points resistor wire for my HEI. Where is the best place to tap for 12v power for the HEI?? Horn Relay? Any particular lug?
Thanks in advance..I'm getting close to firing this guy up!!!!

Just replace it where it comes through the firewall plug. The resistance wire is on the engine side, not the dash side.

One of the wires that goes to the windshield wiper motor is a "switched hot" wire; i.e. the wire is "hot" when the ignition switch is turned on. Someone posted a message about this. My recollection is that it is a yellow wire. Anyhow, switch on the ignition and probe the windshield wiper motor wires.
