Many thanks for the picture and explanation. I will take a peek at my circuit board as soon as I pull out the dash. I hope that the problem is as simple as this.

Tach Problems

Please send me a few pics of the Tach PCB when you get it out.
( I have an interest in auto electronics since I used to design them)
