Is it the front and rear side marker lights?
Or the front side marker light and the front parking light?

I suspect it is the front side marker and front parking lights. If so, check the bulbs first.
If the bulbs are OK it is most likely the ground.
If you can't find the ground let me know and I will see if I can get a pic for you.
Good luck.

What was the "right" ground and where was it located? Inquiring minds want to know since I've got a similar problem.
