I am running roller rockers on my 427 and I can't find valve covers that are deep enough for the rockers to clear and that won't hit the alternator at the same time. Any suggestions?
Thank You,
Matt
I have no practical experience, but maybe an alternator relocation bracket might work, or one of those extension brackets...I thought Mr. Gasket or Moroso might make one, but I can't find one at the moment as an example...good luck, I'm sure someone else with experience will chime in here

If push came to shove, you could always fabricate your own bracket so everything clears...
Can you get a longer alternator belt to move the distributor out?
Ummm...NO!
a friend of mine had the same problem, a few well placed hits with a ball peen hammer did the trick. you can NOT see the dents as they are covered by the Alternator!
Double gaskets using Permatex Form a Gasket hardening as contact cement to seal the gaskets should do the trick. Just let it dry so they stray put and use longer bolts. Worked for me on a 454 with rollers
