You usally have to elongate the pushrod slot. They sell a tool to do this with a hand drill, I think Summit has it. Theoretically you can do this on the car, but you have to remove your intake manifold so you can catch the metal filings. Another thing you need to check is rocker arm to valve spring clearance through out a complete rotation. And since you will have more lift, you will also have to check for valve spring coil bind.

You have to do a mock up with the heads on and checking springs( just on one cylinder ) to see if the pushrods are going to hit the heads.
You have to do this because the 1.6 rockers will pull the pushrods in closer to the head, if you don't check you could have real problems later and have to pull the heads.
I think I will go with the 1.6 ratio and then make sure to check the clearances. I also have to check pushrod length. I have the used comp cams push rods that came off the motor but I'm doing the whole motor with new solid cam, heads, springs, and rockers.
