Default Summit Billet BB alternator brackets
Anyone having SME-2026 / SME-2027 installed? They look so good and are not expensive so thats why im interested...but wondering if either of them clear the hood and 2" hedman headers in my 1973 with a 396.

I have also been looking at those and was wondering the same thing. There is a person selling them on a large auction site that I visit and I have sent him an email to find out if he could send me some pics of them installed but I have gotten no response. I am very interested if you can find out anything please post your findings and I will do the same if I find something out.

one of these days i'm gonna take the billet parts of it and get em powder coated that red anodized color, i think that would look great and stand out w/the shiny chrome of alternator

Neal, i don't see why not, looks like lots of us have gone to that style of alt brkt, they look good and are a lot sturdier than the stock brkt. if u note my upper rad hose is higher than the alt. go for it, worst that could happen is to send it back
