Default Power window stuck

Haven't posted in awhile. The car was in storage well I was going through some relationship "issues". That is over and the car is back out.
The problem is the driver's side window was loose. It moves front to back when pushed and in and out anytime the door was opened or closed. I took the glass out and found that the front roller is not connected to the glass. It was just sitting at the bottom of the channel. The bushing and nut were in the bottom of the door. I put everything back together and now it appears the front roller is binding in the channel. When I try to put the window up, the back goes up a little, the front doesn't move, the window tilts forward and binds. Similar situation happens when I try to put the window down too. I can't even pull up on the front of the window and make it move. The front track was greased before I put it back in. Summer is almost over and I want to get the car back on the road. Any comments related or unrelated would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Aaron

I just rebuilt both windows. If you haven't pulled the regulator and slides out, I would pull them out and inspect everything; especially the gear on the regulator. The teeth on the gear or the motoer could be messed up causing the window to bind. While everything is out be sure to clean and lubricate the rollers and slides before you reinstall them. Hope this gets you started. One thing that helped mine tremendously was replacing the switches. My windows were still slow until I replace them. Now they fly up and down the tracks.

The regulator looks okay. I loosened the bolt that holds the bottom of the front channel. The put the window up and down a few times. Then tightened the bolt back up. The window no longer binds although this should not have fixed it.

The problem that you are having sounds just like the problem I was having, and I found out that the side view mirror manual adjustment spring cored thingy was catching the glass on its way up or down. A quick zip-tie did the trick for me. I don’t know if that could have been it for you and when you took it apart and put it back together you could have fixed it without knowing it.

That is very possible. I'll take a look at that and see if I can prevent this from happening again with a zip tie. Thanks for the help.
