Default 82 back drops
I have a 1982 corvette that when the shifter is move to a forward gear the back end of the car drops down about 2". Is this normal

common on all vettes. Can help it a bit by replacing the front diff bushings and the crossmember bushings.

How hard is it to replace the crossmember bushings?
Do you have to lift the body?

Don't have to life the body, but you do have pull your half shafts and anything connected to the differnetial. Front diff bushing you can do on the car, but its a PITA. Gotta pull driveshaft and be really nimble.

My 82 does that also(800)rpm, put it in reverse, it stads up
