HEI Distributor Rebuilt
I searched through http://www.corvettefaq.com/ and FAQ and can't seem to locate info on rebuilding a HEI distributor. I thought lars has info on this. Maybe I didn't get enough sleep, but I did try....Can somesone steer me in the right direction.
If someone has rebuilt one before, can you tell me where you purchased the kit or kits.

Thanks for the response 78pacer, but in the first line of my post www.corvettefaq.com is the first place I looked and FAQ is the second.....is archives the same as FAQ?

I'm not sure of the answer, but I also wouldn't mind knowing. I have an old HEI unit that I wouldn't mind fixing and selling. I talked to the guys at the GM parts counter and they told me it would cost more for the parts than to get a new one, so that's the route I went at the time. Couldn't see throwing my old one out though . . .
