Transmission lines
Silly question here.......does anyone know what size the ends are on the transmission lines of a Turbo 400? I am planning on putting braided lines and AN fitting on both ends. Not sure what size the fitting is that actually goes into the tranny.

I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, but I searched through my TH400 handbook for 15 minutes at work and didn't come accross that information. I would measure the fittings on my own vette since I have it half apart, but I have TH350 so that wouldn't do you any good.

your tranny lines are 1/4"
here's how the line sizes go....
3/8" line, use a 5/8" socket...
5/16" line use a 9/16" socket
1/4" line use a 1/2" socket
For the life of me I'm having a brain dead session and can't translate the socket size to the nut size...
