Default Matching Hardtop

Can someone please tell me if possible what the date of this hardtop is.
I have looked at the hardtop and here's what I have found. On the inside of the top under the back window the following numbers appear embossed on the hardtop in big numbers 48466 and in small numbers 7648 1 12 10 68 it looks like hard to see. On the rear glass on the drivers side it has
SAFETY FLOLITE
SOLID TEMPERED
DOT M72
There is no written black marker dates under the panels. I am trying to make sure everthing matches. Thanks .

I will check my hardtops when I get home from work today. The only date coding I am aware of is on the rear glass, but I would not consider myself to be an expert.

The glass in both of my tops have the same coding as yours. The rear window support mold numbers are also the same. I have no idea when these were theoretically built, I bought them individually rather than with specific cars.

I posted same question on the "general" side and someone told me it was Dec 10 1968. I thought that was just a sequence number. How important is it to actually have the correct dated top. Is it a something that is checked when it is certified.

I think that the key thing is whether or not it was on your tank build sheet. Otherwise it is just an accessory.
