383 voodoo cam
I'm thinking about a cam swap. I have an american speed built crate motor putting out 425hp and 480tq. I don't remember the specifics of the cam but i know the lift is .480/.500 which i think is kind of small. i was looking at this voodoo cam

which seems more agressive. My combination is:
383
edelbrock 750 carb
edelbrock heads (some port work)
9.5 to 1 compression
hei distributor
One other question, i have what they refer to as a "recurved distributor". What exactly does that mean and how will it effect the new cam. Thanks.
